The company began operations with two divisions comprised of a manufacturing group and a distribution group in New York City. In the 1940's, the company experienced tremendous growth, and in 1954 moved to its present location in Clifton, New Jersey where there was room to expand its operations and workforce. The two divisions were turned soon into one to consolidate manufacturing and distribution systems that better met the far reaching needs of a rapidly growing customer base.
